Visual test carried out for the purpose of observing the degradative action of Umana towards a particularly stable and very difficult to degrade substance such as Methylene Blue.
The strong degradation action against all other substances with the same principle of action is deduced from this.

Research project to establish the virucidal activity of Umana against SARS-COV-2 the pathogen responsible for the covid-19 pandemic.  

The results of research in partnership with LabAnalysis, revealed that Umana's active ingredient has a marked virucidal action against SARS-COV-2.

Loggia Industria Vernici in partnership with the Department of Chemistry of the University La Sapienza, and the Pa.L.Mer has carried out, through the project co-reserach, studies on the antibacterial action of Umana, on the photocatalytic principle and the functionality of the S.A.R.C. patent that make Umana the only photocatalytic washable paint with a system of protection of the paint and guarantee of the continuity of its sanitizing action.

THE INTELLIGENT PHOTOCATALYSIS

In this document are reported the results found, the analytical method, and the conclusions of Professor Luigi Campanella (Dept. Chemistry La Sapeinza), regarding the stability of the product over time.

The following study was necessary to establish the optimal amount of antioxidant to be included in Umana to ensure the functionality of the S.A.R.C. patent. , At the same time an artificial aging projection was made to verify the durability and to ensure that the antioxidant is released in the optimal amounts.

HUMAN ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

The research report contains all the data necessary for the unequivocal evaluation of the characteristics of the product, photocatalytic with antimicrobial activity.  

- The product has a marked microbicidal activity;

- 2 This capability is evident from the results obtained by subjecting the product to tests conducted using the ASTM 3273-82 analytical method.

- 3 The analytical method ASTM 3273-82, is an official analytical method of the American Stan-dard Testing Materials, used for the evaluation of the microbicidal power of paint products and is the reference test and internationally recognized for this type of determinations.

- 4 The product is able to exert photo catalytic decomposition of air pollutants, for example is able to break down nitrogen monoxide by about 90% after one hour and totally after about two hours....."
