Controlled-Release Antioxidant System

The SARC system (patented by Loggia Industria Vernici in collaboration with La Sapienza and Pa.L.Mer) constantly releases, in controlled quantities, an antioxidant substance of plant origin which, unlike other photoactive paint systems, guarantees a high level of protection, long life and colour stability of the substrate.
THE S.A.R.C PATENT ENSURES THAT THE NANOPARTICLE TITANIUM DIOXIDE (TiO2) BREAKS DOWN POLLUTANTS PERFECTLY, WITHOUT DETERIORATING THE PAINT.
DR. FABRIZIO ZUFFRANIERI
He collaborated with the Southern Lazio Scientific and Technological Park (Palmer) and the Sapienza University of Rome on the Co.Research project; published in collaboration with Prof. Luigi Campanella, for the 1st International Congress on Sustainable Chemistry (Green Planet Chemistry), the work entitled “Stabilization of Photocatalytic Paints”;
Author of the international SARC patent (controlled-release antioxidant system).
Author of the international patent for Mouldable Plastic Coating in cGMP Compliance).
He studied at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine of the “Sapienza” University in Rome.
He is currently a technical consultant for Research & Development projects at Loggia Industria Vernici and a senior analytical chemist at Chemi SpA (Italfarmaco SpA group).
Member of the OPT, the Joint Territorial Body for Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo for the prevention of health and safety in the workplace;
He has collaborated in the past with several public and private research institutions, including:
Merck Italia SpA, Svar SpA, Agemina Biochimica SpA, dealing mainly with pharmaceutical technology, analytical chemistry and research projects.
He was a member of Working Group 4 of the Ministry of Public Works for Road Signs, and worked with Rohm And Haas and the Autostrade SpA Experimental Centre to develop the first water-based systems for the Italian market.
